After a friend questioned the volume of posts about Roxie I intended to slow down. I truly did. And then I went to the dog park with Stef and Roxie.
Our town has a dog park with two fenced in areas. One is for dogs. The other is for small dogs. Yeah–that didn’t make sense to me either.
The ‘all’ dogs area was full with 50-80 pound behemoths. The small dog area had LuLi. I’m guessing at that spelling. LuLi is a Chinese Crested.
“They usually win the ugliest dog contest,” Luli’s owner said.
As soon as we put Roxie on the ground Luli jumped to the top of a picnic table. Impressive! Roxie is the first alpha dog whose not yet conscious she’s a dog.
Stef will be returning with Roxie.
that’s a great dog park for small dogs, and the socializing of Roxie by going there is really beneficial
Ignore your friend..DO NOT SLOW DOWN with the Roxie stories…keep ’em coming. We love them and all the pictures. Always wanted a Doxie, but can’t have one so we are living vicariously….!
I am in total agreement with Laura! PLEASE don’t cut back on the Roxie photos/stories. They always brighten my day!
Hey, that’s my dog, LULI! And, you spelled her name correctly, too! How awesome! I remember the day I met you, Stef, and Roxie at the Hamden dog park. Roxie was such a sweet, adorable dog! I can’t believe my dog was so scared of tiny Roxie. Haha! Luli’s such a scaredy-cat! Anyway, cutest pic EVER! Love it! Thanks for capturing such a precious moment…
