Why Is This Man Not Smiling?

You have correctly noted I look really pissed (my characterization) as I drove home with my Chinese food. I’m not sure why.

“They’re right.” Helaine was talking about the commenters to my last blog post.

You have correctly noted I look really pissed (my characterization) as I drove home with my Chinese food. I’m not sure why. Nothing could be farther from the truth, yet there wasn’t even the hint of a smile.

If you’re waiting for me to explain why I scowled… well, I just don’t know.

There are a few things I should mention. The video is greatly sped up–at least three times normal, maybe more. My head is bobbing and darting because (more than I expected) I am doing what they taught me when I learned to drive–looking at my mirrors to stay ahead of any other cars on the road.

But why no smile? No clue.

  1. The video from Ann Nyberg’s Google/UTube search is neater than you driving along, scowling in the sun, LOL. You probably just needed darker glasses or sunglasses? My 4’9″ tall Mom would like your little car, though!

  2. Do you normally drive along, alone, with a big smile? Does anyone? People in cars beside you would think you were crazy! ( I sometimes catch people looking at me when I’m singing along with music – I’m sure they think I’m bonkers!)
