At 1:59 PM, a SNET lineman (using a line ‘borrowed’ from Qwset Diagnostics) called to tell us our phone service had been restored.
I am still having email discussions with the phone company’s PR person. I think there are weaknesses in their response to outages, and I want to see how/if they will be addressed.
We went through a situation that would have been much less worrisome and painful had SNET taken more proactive steps.
